Take Control of Your Health

Regular Well-Care Visits

Your annual well-care visit with your primary care provider (PCP) is crucial for overall health. Discuss your goals, concerns, and family history to receive personalized recommendations. During this visit, your doctor may suggest lab tests or screenings based on your needs.

Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Screenings

Breast cancer and cervical cancer are two common cancers in women. Regular screenings can help detect these issues early when they're most treatable.

Breast Cancer Awareness

  • Know Your Family History: Talk to your family members about their medical history and inform your doctor if there's a history of cancer.
  • Perform Monthly Self-Exams: Perform a self-breast exam at least once a month to familiarize yourself with how your breasts normally look and feel. Report any changes to your doctor immediately.
  • Get a Mammogram: Schedule annual mammograms starting at age 40 (or earlier if your doctor recommends it) for early detection.

Cervical Cancer Prevention
